About the Organizer
The American International Education Foundation (AIEF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting American education overseas. Since 1992, AIEF (formerly known as the IEF Education Foundation) has worked with American and international educators, business leaders and government officials on a range of international student services and educational exchange programs. AIEF provides diverse resources such as American education fairs, conferences, seminars, publications, exchange programs, student scholarships and teacher/counselor training programs in Taiwan, China and Korea. Headquartered in Los Angeles, AIEF also has offices in Washington, D.C., Taipei, Seoul and Shanghai.
AIEF’s Taiwan Office, based in Taipei, is a U.S. State Department-affiliated educational advising center. The Center is a recipient of the NAFSA-ETS Excellence in Advising Award for overseas advising centers. It is open year-round to help bridge the information gap between U.S colleges and Taiwanese students. The Center not only maintains a library with U.S. college materials and reference books, but also takes an active role in providing unbiased information about educational opportunities in the United States.
