The program combines a high-quality American public school 1 year experience, elite private school experience and the memorable experience of living with a local American family. This complete program is brought together by American International Education Foundation (AIEF) with over 20 years of experience in the educational and student exchange field. Test prep, tutoring, and GPA management will be given in the evenings and weekends to insure students are prepared to continue their education at top American Universities. This is a complete program to help young people become successful students in America!

The International Student Program supports a global international relationship with the use of the I20 student visa program. The Chino Valley Unified School District (CYUSD) has approximately 30,000 students from Pre-K through grade 12. The Distric has twenty elementary schools, five junior high schools, one continuation high school, two K-8, and four comprehensive high schools. Our Independent Study program offers home-based K-8, and 9-12 online virtual approch to education and/or a non-traditional brick and mortar model.

CVUSD has embraced a 21st Century learning model with the use of career pathways for students who desire a higher level career. Pathways provide students the opprtunity to take courses in medical and enineering to pursue occupations such as doctors, civil or mechanical engineers, or computer science. In addition, in 2014/2015 school year, the CVUSD launched an Early College Program to provide students an apportunity to earn dual credits and/or an Associate degree upn graduation from high school.

International Student Counselor

The International Student Counselor will facilitate students toward learning and academic success in the International Student Program. The counselor will oversee the daily functions of the program, including student advising, apllication process, visa approval process, and will serve as the liason with outside agencies. The counselor is well-versed in the Student Exchange Visitor Information System.
 

Advance Science and Engineering Program

Civil and mechanical engineering are offered at Don Lugo High School. Additionally Alaya High School offers the Computer Science and Engineering programs. Students are highly encouraged to participate in interships, research, and the Linked Learning career pathways to learn the relevance of math and science.

  • Northern College Tours (UC Berkeley & Stanford)

Enrichment Classes:

The District offers fee-based courses in partnership with local colleges.

  • Trig/Pre-Cal
  • English 9-12
  • Social Science
  • World History
  • U.S. History

All courses include Honors if desired.
